He was Called to the English Bar in 1965, at the Inner Temple, and enrolled by the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1977 and as a Notary Publi in 1982. He was installed Ogboye Imo in 1982, in the Egba Alake kingdom of Abeokuta, by King Lipede the immediate predecessor of the present Alake of Egbaland.
