The Adventures of Glia Girl

Meet the newest superhero, Glia Girl! In this book she helps kids learn all about stroke. Oliver and Angelina have had many adventures, but their quest for excitement is far from over. Unfortunately a tragedy strikes when a family member has a stroke. All of a sudden, Glia Girl comes into their lives to teach them all about strokes.

Our bodies are made of many types of cells. Glia Girl is named after Glial Cells, a type of cell in our brains. Glial cells help our brains to help us think. Just like Glia Girl helps kids in learning about the brain!
