You will read about the struggles & obstacles that I had to overcome which eventually became the testimony and badge of honor that I proudly share with any and everyone who is willing to hear my story. I wrote this book from the perspective of what we now call minority students, "At-Risk-Students" and the struggles that we face in a school system that is still failing us today and as an educator who is willing to speak out about the problems that I see in our profession. I have been on both sides of the fence and there is one thing that I am certain of. There is a strong need to shed light on the needed changes within the system. The bones of this book are everything you need to know and understand when it comes to working with students.
