As the Titan class terraforming colony ship Heaven and three other ships entered orbit, a rogue container ship "accidentally" rams Heaven pulling the stricken ship to its destruction in the atmosphere. What should have become a celebration becomes an inquest into genocide.

Generations later, reclusive ex-celebrity Rolland Newcastle is one of the official owners of the beautiful planet of New Jerusalem. Born to great wealth, power and fame he also inherited the intense hatred of a shadow group who is intent on eliminating them all.
