This is not poetry about making out on Friday nights, it is about reaching and touching the very essential parts of love. It is a girls first kiss, and it is the death of a family puppy. It is a father's loss of a daughter as she changes into a young lady, but he never notices it, while it is a mother's noticing the changes with a littl envy. And it is the daughter's wish to hurry up the process. It is the boy down the street noticing all of these things, especially the girl, and wondering what to do about it all.
