The World Carried on

In a time, long past, the Old World was consumed in fire and poison. Twins, Malin and Marek live a quaint life in the Tenno Kinship. Rebuilding and surviving in a world unhindered by man for hundreds of years. However, when their parents are inflicted with a flesh-eating disease known as The Black Rot, their seemingly peaceful lives are thrust into chaos. Unable to accept their parent's fate and watch them wither, the twins are determined to heal them. Word of a cure comes to them from the unlikeliest of sources: the telepathic voice of a woman named Hera. A woman imprisoned in a fallen city of the Old World. He need only get a pair of twins to the ruined city she's imprisoned within. For this, she'll give him the means to return to his family and people. Together, these travelers set out into the untamed wilds on a journey that will change them forever.
