Death at a Crossroad

In Death at a Crossroad, London-based journalist, Tony Conway, is sent to the island of Caribe. It's the 1960s - revolution is in the air. Through the enigmatic Lydia, Conway meets Professor Sanchez, the soul of the opposition to the corrupt President and his henchmen. Conway is drawn into the plotting. He tells the world through his reports as he follows the military leader's triumphant campaign through the countryside. In the capital, Lydia and the Professor create a secret network and wage a parallel, underground war. The President is forced to flee. The campaign succeeds but at a heavy price.
