Sweetheart

Sweetheart is an anthology. It contains short stories translated from Urdu fiction of writers across Pakistan, the country that stretches from Himalayan Mountain Range to the Arabian Sea. Its land mass is composed of plains, deserts, rivers and greens. Most short stories in the Sweetheart portray rich culture of loving and compassionate people of Pakistan. The tribal belt in the Northern areas of Pakistan holds somewhat conservative culture than the liberal people of Punjab and Sindh in the Southern parts of the country. The stories like Honorable, Khalis Jaan and Masochist tell the tales peculiar to the tribal areas of Kohistan and Baluchistan, the rugged mountainous regions of Pakistan. The stories like Blooming Bruises reveal open and liberated culture of Punjab. The stories like Dying For The Paradise and Suicide beautifully portray the wave of terrorism the country faced in recent past.
