'Know Yourself' is inscribed on the Temple of Delphi's frontispiece. Socrates has taken over this saying. It reinforces this divine injunction. 'Know Yourself' has become a great philosophical truth. Man must seek his deep nature because it is indistinct. It is by knowing oneself, by searching in oneself, that man can find his way, his mission, and wisdom.
