The branches of the Worldtree cradle all life. And all time. Standing in the temple of the God of the Sea, Vili aches from the war he won at the ultimate cost. There is no changing death, not even for the Man Out of Time. Still, Vili wishes wish that there was a way to save the loves of his life and the rest of the world. A wish overhead by a goddess with the ultimate power over life and time. Instead of returning to his proper time, Vili falls through time once more, emerging in the distant past where new opportunities open to him. Vili has to choose whether he will take a chance on a whole new life or return to the devastation of his own timeline.
