When Good Girls Go Bad

A successful accountant with an uncanny eye for financial crime, Pasha Stern begins her new career as a private investigator after assisting the FBI in solving an international crime and working closely with Special Agent Larry Smith. Afterward, Pasha and Agent Smith realize they are burned out and want to make a new start. They joined their resources and created an investigative team of Stern and Smith, Private Investigators. When the FBI asks them to assist with a double murder case possibly related to financial shenanigans conceived by a west coast ivy league sorority, they are happy to oblige. The first murder was part of a sorority massacre where eight young women were mowed down in less time than it takes to describe it, and the second murder was the longtime friend of John Morales, the FBI Director.



The twists and turns of the case take Pasha and Larry undercover to infiltrate a Mexican drug cartel. Pasha's moral dilemma of risking her life to rescue two young men she'd already deemed guilty and unworthy weighed heavily on her. Pasha is a complicated woman who struggles with her family's history, her need to control, and her fear of relationships. Throughout the book, Pasha seeks a deeper understanding of herself and where she fits in the world while fighting off bad guys and solving crimes. She's funny, irreverent, tough as nails, and soft as putty.
