The Monster in the Basement

It's a normal childhood fear to be afraid of the dark, or believe monsters are hiding under the bed, or in the closet. It's fun to be scared, as long as we know it's not real and that we are safe. But the thought of the things that scare us being real is what makes it fun. This is a story based on the memories from my childhood of being afraid of the basement, and how our brother used to scare us.
