For the first time in her life, Frayka is alone. Separated from family and friends, she must pursue the task given to her by the Northlander gods of her home country: to find the dragon gods of the Far East and convince them to make amends for all the harm they've done. Frayka travels through a hostile country whose customs are unknown to her. Every word she speaks-every action she takes-could unwittingly offend those around her and bring about disaster.
