Isaiah

This is a book in which you will marvel at the sovereignty of God. It is not written in highly sophisticated English; rather it is written in the everyday plain language of the everyday man. You will see the holiness of God vindicated in the Assyrians taking the ten tribes of Israel and enfolding them into their own empire. You will also see the Babylonian Captivity. You will even so be carried forward to the restoration of Babylon and the restoration of Israel. You will see that sovereignty of God played out in the remembering of the Abrahamic Covenant as Israel is brought back into the favor of God. There are comfort and rejoicing.
