No Ordinary Christian

In John 14:12 Jesus is recorded as saying believers will not only do the things that he did, but they'd also do greater things. Many religious commentators downplay this bold statement, applying it only to the ability to use modern travel and technology to spread the gospel. But what if Jesus actually meant exactly what he said? What if he expects believers to emulate and even exceed each of his wondrous accomplishments? Would that challenge humanity to achieve extraordinary levels of sacrifice, love, forgiveness and lead to miracles on par with those performed by Christ? If this is even remotely possible shouldn't we try to make it happen? If so, the first step is to imagine it can be done. Ordinary Christian does just that. It dares to imagine a second Christ, bearing striking resemblance to the first, only this one is born in modern day America.
