The Man Was a Bear

Taking photos of wildlife and selling them was a hobby of Sadie's. Every chance she got she was in the woods somewhere taking pictures of everything from mushrooms to bears. She seemed to have a way with animals. People on the other hand not so much. It was mostly men she had problems with. It seemed to her that every man she ever got near wanted to hurt her in some way. She had been raped when she was just out of high school. Then she went to work at a hospital. She dated a psycho doctor a couple of times. After that, she vowed to give up on men. She would stick to her walks in the woods where she had made friends with the animals Lobo had come across the most amazing scent on one of his hunts. It was so alluring, he had to follow it. He never dreamed the scent belonged to a human. A human! For several months every time she came to the woods, he followed her around keeping back a little. He stayed hidden watching over her so he could protect her if she needed him to. Then he got his chance to save her life. Still, she had no idea who or what he was. How was he going to meet her in his human form? How could he ever get close to her? He was in love with her and hadn't ever talked to her. Adam was a Park Ranger. He was out making sure things were alright in his woods when he found a young lady about to break her car window out. She had lost her car keys in the woods. He took her home to let her use his phone. It was love at first sight. She was everything a man could want in a woman. If only he could get her to fall in love with him. He would do anything for her.
