This book marks the beginning to my journey that I started at age 23 when I decided to follow my own path instead of one I was directed to. My aim was to describe while at the same time understand the feelings and thoughts I was experiencing during my struggles and experiences. I have found that learning of others' experiences was both healing and disarming. I wished to return the favor. If my work aids a person in their journey of self discovery and healing, I would feel successful.
