Annilina Selkerr is a thief, and a rather good one at that. But, times are tough in the kingdom of Primarene, so when an old friend brings in an opportunity for her to get rich it's too good to refuse. Unfortunately, things go awry and Annilina finds herself alone, subject to a curse -- and host to the spirit of an ancient and eccentric sorcerer. Soon she is embarking on a quest to break her curse with the guidance of her phantasmal companion and the help of a peculiar array of strangers, but circumstances warn that there may be more to her quest than Annilina knows...
