Formerly a juvenile assassin for a government black ops cabal, twenty-one year old Sing reinvents himself as a bodyguard for Hollywood stars. Living in a modest bungalow in a small New Mexico town, Sing and his brother Jacko now do honest work, are well-respected, and become productive members of society. Sing begins wooing Rosalita, a local beauty whose spiritual values both intrigue and challenge him. Life couldn't be better...until the bottom drops out.
Tragic fire claims the life of a ranch foreman. Evidence points the blame at Jacko. Another fire at a movie set where Sing is working also appears to be Jacko's fault. Is Sing's younger brother reenacting the past when he had accidentally caused their mother's death by fire?
Sing sets out to discover the truth and stumbles onto sinister activity in the Utah desert. Having poked his nose where it doesn't belong attracts the attention of an old adversary who fancies himself as Uncle Sam along with his ruthless enforcer, Magpie. When Magpie threatens Sing's client, the actress Hailee Morgan, he teams up with Hailee and his best friend Trent to eliminate the threat. During their time together, the friendship between Hailee and Sing deepens which imperils his fragile relationship with Rosalita.
Sing's to-do list couldn't be more formidable. He must clear Jacko of manslaughter and discover who really is behind the fires. He needs to kill Magpie before Magpie kills Hailee. He and Trent have to discover the secret behind Uncle Sam's clandestine scheme. Sing loves two ladies, but he needs to choose.
