Abraham was truly a great man. He was also a friend of God. Yes, that's right: he was a friend of God. In fact, the Lord himself makes this statement: "But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend."

Not even Moses, whom God had spoken to face to face, was given the designation of "friend." Indeed, God referred to Moses as His servant.

So how was such a relationship possible? How could a man, made of the dust of the earth, become friends with an all-powerful, all-knowing, supreme being? Let Dr. John Hargrove provide some answers for you. And let him show how you, too, can we enjoy that same kind of relationship with God.
