I did not care about the gift, the cake, balloons, or money in a card. I just wanted to hear "Happy Birthday, my darling," from my mother. Who the Hell Are You? Alzheimer's the Wrong Diagnosis, is the true story of my mother's battle with Hydrocephalus. Initially diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, it was only when her condition worsened and we sought a second opinion, that the true extent of her illness was revealed. What were her symptoms? Why was a "telltale" sign overlooked? Could YOUR loved one be suffering from Hydrocephalus? I hope that by sharing our experience, other families will be spared the heartbreak of losing a loved one to this frequently misunderstood disease.
