Abby Greene and her brother Evan own a thriving PI company, but the fact that their business is successful does not stop Evan from trying to help Abby settle down. Abby appears to be a relatively normal woman in her twenties, but she is so much more than that. The only friend who knows about Abby's second job, and whom she can fully trust, is Kit, a detective in his forties. Together, as PI and detective, they solve many crimes. But when they reopen the cold case of the murder of Abby's parents, things go terribly wrong...
