This is the sequel to my first book, Darkness rising. It takes place a few months after the ending of the first book. The Reaper and his remaining cohorts have turned part of the world into a living hell. Most of the humans of either been absorbed, or turned into Reaper's personal army. The remaining humans hid where they can. A group of humans with super powers, are the only line of defense. Combined with Sea Beast and Zakos, can they make a difference in Reaper's plan.
