One Awful Red Monday After Another (Sharona Dugan Series)

All Sharona "Sid" Dugan wanted was to be able to pay her bills, lose a few pounds, and spend time with her children. But after she helps her boss with a problem, everyone wants Sid's help. She finds herself facing possible arrest after tangling with a fire escape. Things go downhill after that. There is the septic overflow which draws her in like a swamp sucking monster. The mirror kissing teenage girls are almost her undoing. And Sid ends up in the emergency room after rescuing a tiny pampered dog. All this time, Sid tries to figure out the new lady in town--lovely, mysterious Bernadine Meriweather. Sharona's adventures will have the reading cringing in sympathy and laughing out loud at her accidental antics. This is the first in the Sharona Dugan series. The second, Two Terrible Tawny Tuesdays, will be out in late 2013.
