Bruce West Novels: Collectors Edition II

Publisher Marketing: Three complete unabridged novels in a single volume. In Busted Bruce is hired by the mother of a drug dealer who has been arrested for possession of the illegal drugs her son hid under her bed. Her claim that she didn't know they were there is not a viable defense. Bruce concocts an imaginative defense moment before he delivers his closing argument to the jury. He experiences events that will alter his personal life. Steamy love scenes and lots of laughs. In Scoundrel, Bruce's client is an accomplished scam-artist. Among his endless criminal enterprises, he rips off drug dealers, engineers a three million dollar diamond heist and accepts a six-figure fee to arrange a murder, which he has no intention of fulfilling. He cons two Arab terrorists who are attempting to acquire stinger missiles, then rips off the FBI when they enlist his help to destroy the terrorist cell. He seeks Bruce's representation hoping to escape retribution and avoid punishment for his criminal activities. The Neighbor The bullet-riddled body of an unidentified man is found in the woods on the multi-million dollar estate of Bruce's client. She has the strongest motive among the numerous suspects. Despite her iron-clad alibi, she is charged with the murder. There is no question about her innocence until the hit-man who was hired to do the killing is located by the police. Her fate is sealed by his compelling testimony. You will be stunned by the shocking outcome of her trial. Contributor Bio:  Sharrow, Ron Ron Sharrow spent most of his life in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended The Baltimore City College, The University of Maryland and earned his JD degree at the University of Baltimore - School of Law. After his retirement, he and his wife, Beth, moved to California. They divide their time between their home in Rancho Mirage and their Central Park apartment in New York City. During the course of his 35 year legal career, he kept a journal of the stupid things people said to him and the preposterous stories told to him by clients. He also noted some of the strange criminal cases he tried that had interesting twists and surprise results. After he retired, he was sorting through a lifetime of accumulated stuff stored in his basement making the difficult decisions deciding what was going to the dumpster and what was going to make the cross-country journey to California. The journal surfaced and he found himself sitting on the basement steps laughing as he leafed through it, recalling the stories and people he memorialized in that diary. It was then he realized that the material was priceless...funnier than fiction. It needed to be shared. He spent the next year writing "A Lawyer's Revenge" which became the first in the series of C. Bruce West Novels. Some elements of the stories are autobiographical and many of the characters are based upon people who had filtered in and out of the author's life over the years. The novels are fictionalized accounts of the material from his journal. The plots are based upon actual cases and events which he encountered during the course of his career. Ron says he was entertained when he wrote the books and has been told by readers that they were entertained when they read them. "Nothing is more gratifying to me than knowing that my stories made someone smile, or better yet...that they laughed out loud." Ron Sharrow
