Book 1 of 3 deals with Sergeant Spiros as he deals with a murder or murders on the island of Zakynthos, Greece. Sergeant Spiros is from Zakynthos, an island located in the Ionian Sea between Italy and the mainland of Greece. For many years he has lived in Athens and served on the police force. Coming home to 'wrap up' things in his family's home, he is thrown into various situations that he, himself never knew existed. One was a murder that happened twenty-five years ago.
