Spartacus Unchained: Worth of the Individual

Just over two thousand years ago, in the times of Roman dominance, lived a slave in Capua. His name was Spartacus, originally from Thrace. We remember his name today because in his time he did the unthinkable: Spartacus fought against the Roman legions in order to gain his freedom, and the freedom of about 120 000 people who joined him. Spartacus and the rebel slaves were finally defeated - but not before they had put up a brave and historic fight.
