Suspicions of the Heart

Candy Arnold inherits a broken down ranch in the Panhandle of Texas. She's never had a home, but her ex-husband suggests she sell it. He's a lawyer and can help her. Candy doesn't want to sell, despite the fact that she was nearly killed in a rodeo arena, or the fact that she is shot at once she gets to the ranch. But when someone steals her trailer, she is freaked. Who could want her dead, or her land? Who could she trust? In her heart she had many suspicions.
