About Dutch: the Passing of Midwestern Small Farms and the Lifestyle of Their Caretakers

Our small Midwestern farms are leaving us at a rapid rate along with the men and women who farmed them. This was the great generation that supplied our food during the depression and several wars. The lifestyle and work ethic they embodied is also fading into history. This book chronicles what took place on one Ohio farm which was typical of many farms in the Midwest during the last century. It features a man who was one of the caretakers of our most valuable asset--the land.
