Susie Jackson Batty found herself keeping a daily diary when she had to deal with breast cancer and reconstruction. Once she had started she found it very therapeutic to offload her thoughts and feelings, and hopes and fears into The Diary. As time went on and she recorded all the changes that were taking place in her life, she wondered if The Diary could be of help and a comfort to others touched by the illness, and so she continued to keep it until the right time came for her to stop.
