Blazer High School and then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. He is also a freelance writer, contributing many articles and editorials to The Christian Perspective, a quarterly journal on contemporary issues. Jim is also an award-winning songwriter and portrait artist, and the owner of Anderson Art Studios. He continues to live with his family in Ashland.
