Focused on the Father: the Lord's Prayers

The Gospels record many occasions on which Jesus spent time praying to His Father. As you begin to read, you will first encounter His teaching on The Lord?s Prayer in five verses of Matthew, Chapter 6. Other Scriptures in which Jesus prayed will follow. Let them all touch your heart and illuminate your understanding. If you will allow them to, they will speak to you. This is because they are straight from Jesus. He sent them with purpose. They have your name written all over them.
