Ellis Island: Immigration - Crabtree Chrome

From 1892 to 1954, millions of immigrants from Europe, Asia, and other parts of the world headed for North America, leaving behind war,poverty, and starvation in their own countries. The first stop for many immigrants arriving on American soil was the Ellis Island Immigration Station in New York City. After a long ocean voyage, being processed at Ellis Island was the last step before beginning a new life in a new county.
