Wheels Within Wheels

Another masterpiece by the author of Circle in a Spiral. Set amid the beautiful Santa Fe region of modern-day New Mexico, Wheels Within Wheels skillfully combines ancient history and romantic entanglements to produce this well-crafted soap opera. Plots and subplots abound as the major players weave their webs to advance their own personal agendas with often absurd and surprising consequences. Somehow amid the confusion, archaeologist Art Wilder tries to solve the riddle of why the Anasazi abandoned the enigmatic Pueblo Bonito at the height of their civilization and find out if they really were cannibals. This is an intriguing well-written novel that once again proves why Art Wiederhold is the master storyteller of this generation.
