Jaws of the Python

Be pulled into the lives of a newly minted Marine officer and his young bride as they try to create a family and, at the same time, pursue a thrilling career in the face of growing forces that are vehemently opposed. Lieutenant Stewart arrives in Vietnam having at the last moment been denied the training he required to join his coveted Force Reconnaissance Company. Marine reconnaissance missions and assignments were rapidly changing in this new combat environment and those changes sweep Stewart into unexpected and challenging situations. The forces pulling on him and his comrades had not been addressed in The Basic School or, indeed, in boot camp. Survival depended on ability to adapt. Victory depended on forces beyond their control.
