The world of the hypnotist is a very strange and unusual environment indeed, it lends itself to the idea of dark thoughts, invasion of the soul and of the ability to probe one's mind, there is however not much that is said about the healing value that a good hypnotist can bring or of the easing of pain which he or she can give to a person who suffers various phobias, fears, or illness that conventional medicine simply cannot touch. Here in this age of modern healing there is still a power or force that when applied to the mind can and quite often will change the patient forever. There is seldom the need for drugs not even the need or requirement for physical contact, just the power of suggestion and this alone can change an illness into good health. The hypnotist and his skills fall into the area called alternative therapy but one thing we need to be aware of, the hypnotherapy is indeed an alternative but to what healing value or indeed dangerous end can it be taken too! How much power, control and influence can be exerted while tampering with the human mind!
