'The Magic Diamond' draws readers' attention to these intelligences and uses standard academic practice of primary research and desk research to formulate their own conclusions, thus providing a blueprint for children on 'how' to evaluate and think for themselves.

The stories were borne from research conducted amongst children, who identified challenges they most needed help with, which responses correspond exactly with Maslow's 'Hierarchy of Needs'.

All stories have a cheeky villain who represent a challenge children requested help with and a formula for overcoming it.
