Neighbors Julia Herrick and Lindsay Moore spent the last decade enjoying joint vacations, family dinners, and holiday parties - their two families practically melding into one. So when Lindsay off-handedly announces her family is moving in a week's time for a lateral position at work, Julia is shocked and devastated. A mess of emotions, she turns to Lindsay's husband, Denny, for comfort. But as reassuring touches turn to gentle caresses, Julia can't tell if her feelings for Denny are real or merely a desperate attempt to distract herself from the pain of losing her best friend.



Denny can't understand why Lindsay suddenly wants to move from the idyllic development where they've raised their kids, alongside the Herrick kids, for the past decade.
