For Earl, it all started in a small cafe where he stopped regularly to enjoy a meal. One turn of events led to another, and he found himself raising two daughters, which was an adventure in and of itself. Then came the mysterious job offer, and a half-crippled Filipino teenager he thought might be a bit too sweet on his youngest, and a long, strange haul across Nebraska with that incredibly gorgeous blonde who had been hired to follow him. It was the beginning of a grand and glorious adventure that would pit him and his new extended family against bullies, terrorists, and ultimately a wicked foreign slave trader. It all began when he answered an invitation, took the job, and picked up worn out key to that International Loadstar. Like ripples in a pond, lives all around him would begin to change.
