Not A Hero

An ancient evil has risen again, sending giant snakes to besiege the mountain town of Beloved Garden. All Thayson wants is a chance to prove himself, to become the Hero, just like his father. When he enters the trial against his two friends, who are more skilled with sword and magic, and someone else is chosen, he has to face failure, depression, and isolation before he can have an opportunity to live up to the legacy of his father and bring peace to the town once again.
