Power: a Psychological Thriller

John Freeman grew up in an upper-middle class suburb outside of San Francisco. In high school John hung out with the "in crowd", played baseball and excelled in all of his advanced courses. After graduating near the top of his class he enrolled at USC. John's high school sweetheart enrolled down the road at UCLA. They married after college. In San Francisco, John created a very lucrative consulting firm, which helped him become nationally known for his infomercials, self-help books and corporate seminars. He is living the American dream with his gorgeous wife, two beautiful daughters, a son and a lavish lifestyle. However, entrepreneurial success, fame and a solid family life are not enough. John needs much more to stimulate his internal needs. Over the years his obsession with power has spiraled into absolute dominion. The only way to satisfy his appetite is to lead parallel lives. This comes easily because of his high intelligence, personable demeanor and disposable income. John has land and major networks from Atlanta to Seattle to help quench his desires. These desires include doing the unthinkable to young attractive women. A rookie detective in Seattle has a theory about the five missing women from the metro-Seattle area. His superiors are beginning to listen. At a club in Atlanta, John is enjoying a few drinks. His waitress, Elle, is flattered by all the attention he's giving her. Currently, she is working towards her doctoral in medicine from a private university in Atlanta. Elle thanks God she received a scholarship; otherwise she would still be helping her father run the family business in the small town of Olive, Oklahoma.
