Christoph Waltz, Ian Richardson and Francesca Annis star in the second series of this comedy written by Malcolm Bradbury. Hearing the news of the newly liberated Eastern European country of Slaka, Eurocrat Hans Joachim Dorfmann (Waltz) takes a tour of the nation with Slakan Galina Vitali (Cécile Paoli) who tells him about a missing Slakan fortune. As he delves deeper into the country's government, he realises that everywhere around him is corruption.
