A collection of short stories concerning contemplative nuns. All the stories have been published before in other books, but are here all brought together in one volume. This not about piety or sainthood, although it is there, it is about the struggles towards that goal, struggles within themselves, combating memories before they entered the convent., to reach that goal: to serve the God who has called them to such a life.
