Mothers and Other Strangers

From her hospital bed, Vern Alexander's mother reveals a long-held family secret which shakes Vern's world. He and his wife, Marla, begin a quest which takes them from Fenwick Island, Delaware to Las Vegas, on to the Chesapeake Bay, and finally back to the island of St. Croix, where they had previously faced danger in a life-changing event.
