Michael Alexander couldn't catch a break to save his life! Not only had he been left to care for his sisters, (aka the shrews), upon the untimely death of his parents, now they had decided he should get married! What a wonderful surprise, when the perfect opportunity to hatch their matchmaking scheme presents itself when a somewhat dowdy woman shows up on their doorstep claiming the adorable little girl hiding among her skirts is their brother's daughter! In the blink of an eye, Michael's world is turned upside down as his daughter seems to be collecting animals, a duck who thinks she's a cat and a pony who thinks he's a dog, not to mention the fact one, Miss. Jasmine Darling, isn't the plain Jane he had originally thought her to be! All he had to do now was convince the temporary Governess, she should stay on permanently and marry the shrews off one by one!
